Introduction

The Department maintains discipline in the work place for achieving the organizational objectives. The department ensures the day to day functioning of the Institute by coordinating, monitoring and controlling the systems and procedures. The department envisages strict adherence to rules and regulations in all the activities of the Institute. The main functions of the department has been divided through various sections like:
1.Personal,
2.Legal,
3.Maintenance,
4.Hindi,
5.Canteen, Vehicle, Security and Sanitation
The sanction strength of the department is 282.The Institute continued to follow the reservation policy framed by Govt. of India.

Implementation of official language

Hindi Section comprising of Asst. Director (OL), Hindi Translator and Hindi Typist/Clerk makes sincere efforts for implementation of Official Language Hindi.: -

Hindi Day” Celebration:
The Institute celebrates ‘HINDI DAY’ on 14th September Every Year. Various competitions such as Extempore competition in Hindi, Debate in Hindi, Kavita Path in Hindi, Open Quiz Contest, etc. were organized on Hindi Day. Successful participants of the above mentioned competitions were awarded prizes on the Closing Day of the ceremony.
Hindi teaching scheme:
Under Hindi teaching scheme, the Institute imparted Hindi Training in Pragya, Praveen and Prabodh to untrained officers/ employees as per roster prepared for this purpose.
Meetings of Official language implementation committee:
The Department conducts quarterly meeting of the Institutes Official Language Implementation. In the Meeting various matters on compliance of official language policies were discussed and suggestions were made.

Campus Development

The following projects are under progress.
• Construction of Hydrotherapy
• Construction of Dormitory
• Extension of boys hostel & girls hostel
• Repair of A/B/Type quarters

Internet Service

The Institute has been using 2 Mbps leased Internet facility from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) provided through fiber optic cabling.

Development Programme for SVNIRTAR Staff

The Institute encourages its faculty and staff to update their professional knowledge by sending them for long courses, SOCs, workshops, conferences /seminars /symposia etc.
